Privacy Policy

Who we are

W.C. Plumbing Services Inc. is a plumbing company at 3211 Old Muskoka Rd, Utterson, Ontario P0B 1M0. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through wcplumbingservices.ca. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect and why

• Service and quote requests. When you send a request, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you need and your message. They are emailed to us so we can reply and book your job. We don't add you to a mailing list.
• Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited and whether a call or request was started from the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your browser, device, approximate location and the pages you view. We use it only in aggregate, to improve the site.
• Our own visit counter. We also count visits, phone taps and requests with our own simple counter. It uses a random session ID that's deleted when you close your browser, and it doesn't collect your name, contact details or IP address.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run this site: Google (analytics), Resend (delivering request emails) and our website host. They may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. To stop Google Analytics from collecting information about your visits, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How long we keep it

We keep request emails only as long as we need them to answer you, do the work and keep our business records, and then delete them. Google Analytics keeps detailed visit data for a limited time, at most 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent, subject to legal and business record requirements. Email or call us using the details below. If you aren't satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
